The #1 richest person in the world title goes to Jeff Bezos. He holds the crown title of highest net worth individual for the third consecutive year even after having to give a quarter of his Amazon stock (valued at $36 billion) to his wife during their divorce in 2019.

Bill Gates continues to hold onto the #2 spot. The Walton Family remains as the wealthiest family in the United States by a long shot, and Alice Walton holds the title of richest woman in the world.
